Descriptions

Palcoyo Mountain Tour. The other Rainbow Mountain-Palcoyo is ready to be discovered by you!  Few travelers realize that there are various Rainbow Mountains located in Valle Rojo or Red Valley in the Cusco region and day trips to a new Rainbow Mountain, also called Palcoyo, have begun to take place.  With this alternative 1-Day Tour to the Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain you will evade a place overcrowded of tourist and horses.  This mini trek is perfect for travelers who want to enjoy the stunning views of the colorful mountains of this Andean region without the extra effort of partaking in a full day high altitude trek.  It is also perfect for families.  Although Palcoyo is at high altitude, the trail itself is short and relatively flat.

IMPORTANT TIP

If you want to see the citadel of Machu Picchu and its beautiful landscape, then book your trip in advance. Since, the Peruvian government has imposed a daily limit of visits and tickets tend to sell out quickly. Make sure to buy your tickets in time!
